The Poon Hill and Ghorepani trek leads through rhododendron forest and stone-stepped villages to Ghorepani, from where an early-morning climb reaches the Poon Hill viewpoint.

Why it is special

From the top, sunrise lights the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges one peak at a time. It is among the most loved short treks in Nepal.
