The trek
The Mardi Himal trail starts near Pokhara and climbs through forest onto a long open ridge, with Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna peaks close on every side.
Why it is special
It combines quiet trails with some of the most direct mountain views in the Annapurna region, a rewarding trek for anyone who likes ridge walking.
