Neplaws is a legal archive that makes the laws of Nepal easy to explore, search and read on any phone. Founded and built by Satya Joshi.
What Neplaws is
Neplaws is a legal archive that makes the laws of Nepal easy to explore, search and read on any phone. Legal text is often hard to find and harder to read on a small screen; Neplaws is built to fix both.
What you can do
- Read laws section by section: constitutions, Acts and bills, split into sections so you can jump straight to the part you need.
- See the status at a glance: laws are marked in force, amended, repealed or pending.
- Search across the archive: find a law or a section by keyword.
- Plain-language articles: short explainers on laws and legal topics that matter to everyday life in Nepal.
Neplaws is an unofficial archive. The official publication prevails, and nothing on the site is legal advice.
My role
I founded Neplaws and build and maintain the platform, including the structure that organises laws, sections and articles so they can be searched and read clearly.
