Katibajyo is a free world-time website with the exact local time, Nepali (Bikram Sambat) and Gregorian dates, a world clock, converters and holiday countdowns. Built in Nepal by Satya Joshi.
What it is
Katibajyo is a free, fast world-time website. Open it anywhere and it shows the exact time where you are, the date in both the Nepali (Bikram Sambat) and Gregorian calendars, and the time in any city on Earth. The name comes from the most common question in Nepal: “Kati bajyo?”, which means “What time is it?”
Why I built it
Millions of Nepalis live and work across time zones, from Doha and Kuala Lumpur to Sydney, London and New York. Families plan calls across big time gaps and businesses schedule meetings on three continents. Most time websites ignore the Nepali calendar, the +5:45 offset and the festivals that matter here. Katibajyo puts them first and still works for everyone, everywhere.
What it offers
- World clock and time zone converters: over a hundred thousand cities and dozens of ready-made converters.
- Two calendars side by side: Bikram Sambat and Gregorian dates, festivals and public holidays.
- Holiday countdowns: more than a thousand countdowns to holidays and events around the world.
- Your place, automatically: your city, sunrise and sunset, moon phase and holidays where you are.
- Everyday tools: meeting planner, stopwatch, timers, alarm, Nepali date converter and more.
- Private and installable: no accounts, your settings stay on your device, and it keeps working offline once installed.
