Love & Lust 2

Love grows strong with patient care,

It’s built on trust, it’s always there.
Lust can charm and thrill the heart,
But fades away as quick as it starts.

Love will hold you, day and night,
In every shadow, every light.
But lust will leave when passion’s done,
Like setting sun, it’s quick to run.

Trust and Truth

Trust is love’s most loyal friend,
It binds the heart, it won’t pretend.
In trust, we give, we open wide,
With nothing left we have to hide.

But lust will turn our trust to dust,
It’s strong at first, but lacks the trust.
And when truth fades, love can break,
Leaving sorrow in its wake.

Friends vs. Friends with Gains

A friend stands near, with no demand,
A friend’s support, a helping hand.
But a friend for gain, a friend of need,
Will sow the seeds of selfish greed.

True friendship’s pure, it lifts the heart,
It’s there for joy, and pain, and art.
But friends for gain, with hidden aim,
Will turn the bond to loss and shame.

After Marriage, Boundaries Matter

After vows, love’s bond should hold,
No friends for gain, no love sold.
For marriage grows in trust and care,
With loyalty that’s pure and rare.

A friend who’s true, will understand,
To honor lines, to hold the hand.
But friends with benefits, after vows,
Can break a promise, betray the house.
